ABOUT RONALD K. BROWNLEE, JR. Ronald K. Brownlee Jr. (Nov. 18, 1985- June 5, 2008) Ron brings special meaning to the words courage & strength. Through his faith in God and his sense of humor, he wouldn’t let Leukemia (AML) take over a year of his life. Even through 3 relapses, Ron never gave up and he did everything on his own terms. Ron played baseball since the age of 5 up to 21 years of age, and even when it would be the ninth inning, losing the game with 2 outs & 2 strikes on him, he would never give up! He inspired other patients at the University of Penn Hospital, as he walked the floors of Rhoads 6 & 7 and still smiled & joked- this is what makes Ron the special person everyone loved. Ron has left a legacy for his family & friends that we will never forget. We truly believe that God has been with Ronnie and our family through it all & also today. May his strength be an example to all of us when life throws us a curve ball.

ABOUT TEAM IN TRAINING
The Reason Why ? The five year survival rate for children under 5 with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL) is up to 90.4%. As great as this percentage is, we still have quite a way to go.
Watch This For an Answer

An estimated 823,349 Americans are still living with leukemia, Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and myeloma.
Team In Training is a celebration of life, the human spirit, physical ability and mental endurance. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma from taking more lives.Want to run a Marathon, complete a Triathlon, or bike a Century?
